Abstract

More than a decade ago, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) already maintained that warming in the climate system was unequivocal, and this situation would bring significant changes in precipitation and temperature, which would put the availability of water resources at risk in many countries (IPCC, 2013).
